River Market

The River Market is one of Kansas City's most beautiful secret's. Located just North of Interstate 70 is a quant market where residential lofts, restaurants, bars, shops, cafes and ethnic markets reside. Along with those features, the River Market has some amazing places for picture opportunities if you're like my friends and I who love taking pictures!

Since the River Market opened in 1857, it still continues to be one of the largest and most populated public farmers' markets in the Midwest. Growers and small businesses are easily linked to the Kansas City community.

The river Market also holds the Arabia Steamboat Museum. Located at 400 Grand Blvd their are thousands of displays of different artifacts from a steamboat and its cargo that sunk nearby 1856 and was recovered in 1987-1988. This museum is among Kansas City's most popular tourist attractions.
